The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every sassa status day. The provider place made for intervention activities a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to help the servicing of all prospects and raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
